Peyta's Story
My dedication to womyn's health is the heartbeat of my work. As a mother of three, a massage therapist, and a ceremonial leader, I have witnessed firsthand the overlooked needs in womyn's health, from moon cycles to menopause.
I have been guided to practice Holistic Pelvic Care™ and Ayurvedic Lymphatic massage to fill some gaps in womyn's health care. These are the missing pieces to the puzzle that I've been searching for!
These therapies honor the sacred spaces of the female body: the breasts and pelvic bowl, where emotions, energy imprints, and our stories may quietly gather and wait to be set free.
I struggled with pelvic floor issues for almost twenty years. I would pee my pants whenever I laughed, sneezed, or coughed, and I had severe hip and pelvic floor pain.
During this time, the medical system and health practitioners offered no solutions. I often heard the phrase "Welcome to Motherhood" as an insensitive joke.
This response felt dismissive and heartbreaking, and it made me realize that many other womyn were facing the same struggles.
"I believe that everything and anything can be healed if we listen to what our bodies are telling us, follow our guidance, and of course, get the right help."
After one session of Tami Kent's Holistic Pelvic Care™, my symptoms improved by 85%. After my second session, my pelvic floor issues were completely resolved.
My hip pain, which no amount of bodywork could help, also disappeared. The relief from my symptoms, emotional release, and spiritual insights amazed me.
How could my suffering for 20 years end so quickly? Experiencing Holistic Pelvic Care™, I knew it was the missing piece in womyn's health I'd been looking for.
I have had two really close friends and a number of community members who were affected by breast cancer. One had a mastectomy and died at the age of 37. She moved into our home for her hospice care and touched our family in ways I can't even explain.
My other close friend tried a plethora of alternative therapies and healing ceremonies. And when those didn't work, she finally underwent chemo and took hormone blockers, while still working with all the natural and spiritual tools. She is miraculously still alive and is continuing to work on healing from the effects of the medical therapies. Both of these close encounters had a profound effect on my life.
For these womyn, I have a fire of passion to learn more about breast and hormonal health. I pray our future generations of womyn have access to more knowledge, more options, and an understanding of their bodies and health. I hold a vision of truly holistic health care for ALL womyn and their families.
In my own journey, I have nursed three children, moved through peri-menopause, and now have entered into my crone years. Amid the many changes, I could have really benefited from having these skills and tools.
That's why I'm so passionate about sharing this work and teaching the self-care work to as many womyn as I can.
I have been interested in breast massage for years, but found it evasive, at least in the U.S. I pursued lymphatic drainage years ago, thinking it would address the breasts, but like most massage here, breasts are seen as sexual objects and are totally avoided.
My intuition was always that breasts need more massage and movement, but our society has us avoiding them, restricting their movement as much as possible.
When I found Anja and learned the lymphatic breast massage with her, I knew I had found the method that I was searching for. I experienced profound shifts in the texture and shape of my breasts from doing the self-care massage daily.
I had hard and stagnant lymph nodes that I had had for years be softened and resolved, and cysts in my breasts shrink or disapate completely. My metabolism changed, and my post-menopausal weight gain started melting off without dieting, and my overall energy level increased significantly.
The biggest surprise was that my overall pain, including joint stiffness and pain that I've had since my teens, decreased by 90% or more!!!
Womyn's ceremonial work has taught me to honor the uniqueness of every healing path. Each journey is its own story.
I have witnessed the profound transformation that unfolds as womyn release emotions held deep within the breasts and pelvic spaces. With gentle attention and movement, these sacred places awaken, and true healing can unfold.
If you feel drawn to this womyn's wisdom, I warmly invite you to reach out. I am here to support your questions and help you take the next step toward vibrant well-being.
